Introducing Ladina Berther, Our New Associate Osteopath

18 November 2024

We are excited to welcome Ladina Berther to our team! Originally from Switzerland, Ladina holds a First-Class Master’s degree in Osteopathy from the European School of Osteopathy in Kent, where she was recognized as the best clinic student of her year.

Ladina takes a personalized, empathetic approach to patient care, stating:

"I approach each person with empathy, kindness, and respect. I conduct a detailed case history and examination to identify the underlying cause of your complaint, providing an individualized treatment plan. I also offer personalized exercises and lifestyle advice to enhance your recovery and overall well-being."

With her in-depth knowledge of biomechanics, Ladina is skilled at identifying and treating the root cause of pain, not just the symptoms. Her special interests include back and neck pain, posture-related issues, and conditions such as headaches and jaw problems.

"I’m passionate about holistic care and use a variety of hands-on techniques to improve mobility and function," she says. "My goal is to not only relieve your current discomfort but also to equip you with the tools to maintain long-term health."

Outside of the clinic, Ladina loves spending time outdoors, especially hiking and skiing. She’s also an avid tennis and golf player, a pianist, and enjoys getting lost in a good book.

Before I contacted Jamie, I could barely walk and sit down after pulling my lower back very suddenly playing sport. My whole lower back was incredibly tense, and I was constantly worried that even the slightest movement would cause more damage and further intense jarring. After a few days of doubting that I had just 'pulled a muscle' and no sign of improvement I contacted the clinic and was seen within 24 hours. The location for me was perfect as I work at Oxford University Said Business School, so could easily manage to walk to the clinic. The treatment itself is never painful and I always feel at ease. From the first treatment I could feel an immediate improvement. I returned once a week for a number of weeks and was soon back to playing to sport and cycling into work. The best thing about my treatment experience was that Jamie determined the underlying cause of the problem straight away and worked on not only easing the symptoms very effectively but preventing it from happening again. One year on and I have not experienced the problem since.
