Rupert Warne

Rupert is committed to providing a holistic approach to treatment, incorporating a variety of gentle osteopathic techniques including massage, joint mobilization, spinal manipulation and stretching in order to reduce pain and improve mobility. With his background in yoga Rupert is also skilled in helping patients to manage their musculoskeletal problems through prescribed exercises.

Rupert graduated with a BSC Hons Osteopathy from Oxford-Brookes University. He is also an experienced yoga teacher.

Rupert is able to quickly locate the sources of pain and his in-depth knowledge of the body’s biomechanics enables him to identify and treat the underlying causes.

“Over the years I have successfully helped those suffering with acute episodes of pain and discomfort as well as long-term chronic injuries through the use gentle, hands-on treatments and the prescription of practical exercises that patients can do once they leave the clinic.”

“I practice yoga regularly, cycle and get out for walks whenever I can. I find my yoga practice complements my work as an osteopath and helps to keeping my joints both supple and strong. It has also shown me importance of the relationship between the body and the mind in achieving optimal health.”

PART OF THE COMMUNITY

In addition to his work as an Osteopath Rupert has been a qualified yoga instructor since 2005 and teaches classes in Oxford and Woodstock and also family yoga at The Story Museum, central Oxford.
